Old Vic theatre was renovated much time. None of the theatres available in London have been renovated many times as this theatre. After it was opened, it was renovated in the year 1871, by J T Robinson. After that year, the theatre was not touched until 1980 and again in 1902, the theatre was renovated by the same architect, Elijah Hoole.
