For those that aren’t completely aware of what a letter cage is, it’s a box or a cube, and is usually constructed of a steel or other sort of metal, in the way of a frame; thus the term “cage.” It’s a cage for mail, basically, for “letters.” And it’s usually attached to the opening that a postman can access to deposit mail. The letter cage is considered a sort of menial contraption; not necessarily a purchase that will break anybody’s bank (but in this economy, who knows, right?). I think the main issue with buying a letter cage isn’t the price, but the features of the cage, and the engineering (if you can call it that) of the cage. There are various features such as a gate to the cage, most more often than not, the cage will simply be lacking one wall, so that the recipient of all this mail can access the items easily.
